No chance for Le Tallec to do a Morientes

It's just as well Tony Le T will not be allowed to play against us becuase with regular 1st team football I have no doubts he will develop into a class act.

Benitez has refused permission for Le Tallec to play when promoted Sunderland visit the European Cup hold-ers later this month.
Le Tallec has moved to the Stadium of Light on a season-long loan after admitting he has limited first-team opportunities at Liverpool.
And the 20-year-old French forward revealed he has been barred by Benitez from the August 20 clash between the sides, with the Spaniard fearful Le Tallec could have damaged the Champions League qualification hopes of his parent club.
"Of course I would want to play against Liverpool but I cannot," said Le Tallec. "I asked Benitez if I could and he told me no. He said that if I scored against Liverpool and they finished fifth in the league it would not be good for me or for them.
"But to be honest I'm not thinking about Liverpool, I'm thinking about Sunderland."
Of his move to Wearside, Le Tallec added: "I am a competitor and I want to play all the time, but with Liverpool it was impossible.
"I chose to come here because I need to play. With Liverpool it's very difficult to play every week, the coach told me that."

If all goes well he will be able to play regularly for us in the future.
