Garcia has learnt from the Brazilian Magician & Carra
Luis Garcia will continue to try his Ronaldinho inspired tricks provided he is in the right area of the field to prevent incurring the wrath of Carra:
"I don't do these things to show off - I do them because I think they are right for the team. If you often try an easy pass, that makes it easier for the defender," the Spaniard said.
"One of my assets is I am not scared of having the ball. I always want it.
"The only thing the manager has said is I must learn when and where to do it.
"He has been telling me that since I played for him at Tenerife. If I try a backheel, Carra will be behind me, letting me know not to do it in the wrong areas.
"I do have to concentrate because sometimes I just can't help it. But I think that is the main thing I bring to the team."
He added: "Ronaldinho would tell me where he was going to put the ball and I have picked up some of my tricks from him.
"On a scale of one to 10, I would say that he is a 9.99.
"At the moment, I have to learn when to use them and to improve my quality - maybe I'm a seven.
As his performances have shown it is clear to see Garcia prefers playing in Europe:
"But I have found you get more time and space in the Champions League than you do in the Premiership.
"I am not one of the stronger players so my game is a bit different. But I am playing in a more relaxed and confident way now - I feel a lot more comfortable about things.
"The difference in England is that when you are dribbling and running with the ball, defenders get away with a lot more.
"The referees let much more go unpunished, so you have to play the ball a lot quicker.
"When you try something different, like a flick or whatever, if it comes off and you score it's fantastic. If not, the fans will let you know about it."
Garcia has certainly strengthened physically since making his Premiership debut. He not easily brushed off the ball now and is improving all the time domestically. Once he does reproduce his European form in the Premiership he will be an outstanding creative player.

Every team needs a 'garcia'. not afraid to try the spectacular, scores wonder goals from nothing and infuriate the fans! There is not one fan who would say he is a bad player. But every fan likewise would say he doesnt half wind you up when he tries the deft flick instead of a routine pass. But its the very fact that he tries these things that makes him a valuable player. if he is unpredicatable to the fans imagine what he is like for opposing defenders!
His performance on saturday proved his worth, outstanding at times with his link up play and distribution. We look a far better team with luis on form, in the centre with a good right winger.
