Liverpool linked with £ 4.8 million bid for Serb International
According to reports we are interested in Serbian International defender Nemanja Vidic.There are a number of clubs across Europe interested in the highly rated defender who plays for Spartak Moscow.
A central defender is on Rafa's transfer window shopping list and Vidic has a buyout clause of £ 4.8 million so he should be in Rafa's price range. Vidic used to play for Red Star Belgrade and has already been scouted by Villa however they do not have the funds to make a bid at present.
A number of Italian clubs are also chasing his signature. Both Inter Milan and Palermo were keen in the summer, but Fiorentina are likely to provide the strongest competition for his signature as they have the required transfer funds.
