Riise ruled out of Pompey game

Unfortunately Jon Arne Riise has sustained a head injury and will need to rest according to the Norwegian team doctor:

"It can take some time before he can play," Norway team doctor Thor Einar Andersen told Dagbladet.
"It is not a serious injury, but he needs to rest."

It's a shame Riise is likely to miss the next couple of games as he was in the process of cementing his place as our number one leftback.

Warnock will replace JAR. Traore could play in a 'backs to the wall' Champions League game. That's when his only talent can be used i.e. last ditch tackles. He is without doubt one of the worst Liverpool plyers I have seen in 40 years. However I'd rather have him than Paul Stewart, Julian Dicks and the rest of the dross bought by Souness
