Djib ready to show his best form

Djib has reiterated his desire to stay at Liverpool. He had this to say in an interview with The Times:

“I just want to say to people that I don’t want to leave,” says Cisse. “I want to be at Liverpool for a long time. I like the fans. I love the club. I don’t want to go anywhere and I don’t think I will. The speculation about me leaving never came from me and I don’t think it came from the club. I’ve had to be strong, but sometimes it’s made me sad.”

Cisse has received the backing of supporters with 89% wanting him to stay at Anfield:

“That touched me,” he says. Fans were displeased at what seemed to be petulant gestures at teammates in a recent game, but most were willing to put this down to angst: if you were young, abroad, your career had almost been ended and now you had to fight to prove yourself, how would you feel?
“England has not seen the best of me. I really want to show people what I can do,” he says. “Because of the love they’ve given me I want to give something back to supporters and score a lot of goals.”

After Cisse's promising cameo yesterday it is only a matter of time before he is given another start. Hopefully this time he can take his chance to justify the repuatation he arrived with.

The last few games we saw Ponggolle was used as the right man. Is Ponggole the better choice than Cisse. I don't think so. At Birmingham games, Ponggolle didn't impress me. Cisse make one very good cross to Crouch. By that time I really feel like the Istanbul deja vus but just not our day. Maybe against weaker teams we should deploy 4-4-2. Against good teams maybe we deploy 4-5-1 just to be cautious. Cisse has the heart even though he knows the RB didn't trust him that much. He knows next season he will be leaving us if a good offer comes in but he still has the hearts for us. Pity for him. But only he can help himself. He had to score many goal hopefully in high profile game as these games need a big and courages heart. Hopefully he will make RB feels he is that good and important to us. You can see his passion when he scores for us at Birmingham. I will give you my support Cisse. Show the world what can you do and bring back the scoring free habit in France.
