Rafa on our lack of firepower

Rafa has said the onus is on our frontmen to allow our most creative players to thrive:
"If you think about the players we have who are most capable of providing the final ball or an assist, it's Steven Gerrard, Xabi Alonso and Luis," insisted Benitez.
"We need players with different qualities who are capable of doing different things with the ball. We need to accept that, sometimes, in trying to be creative, Luis will lose the ball.
"He knows he needs to understand where he can do his best work and I think he's doing this.
"Luis scored 13 goals for us last season and now he's improving the physical side to his game. I know he can do well playing as a second striker behind Crouch, especially when we have more options in attack."
"In England, the style of football is different to Europe," added the Anfield boss.
"In Europe, Luis can play with more protection. Every contact ends with a free kick, but in England more challenges are allowed.
"But Luis is a clever player who can find a lot of space. I have no doubt he will play well this season because he did so last year.
"The problem for players like Luis and Xabi at the moment is there are fewer options in attack so they can't always pass the ball the way they like. This will get better.
I think that Rafa is still experimenting with our formations whilst he adapts to the Premiership. There is no doubt that Rafa has mastered tactics in Europe. I believe we should look to control every game now we have such great midfield options. No more sitting back away from home.

Rafa started this season with new ideas to improve the away form. Last year we played attacking football winning 11 home games. So, can any one tell me why changing the tactics at home. The system 4-5-1 will make us difficult to beat but instead of breaking into the top 3 we will be crowned as the Kings of the draws

just right you dont win leagues with draws.play cisse play cisse and play cisse.strikers need confidence and games breed it.if only in the home games play him he is already a hero at anfield let the fans breed that confidence and watch him rise.he just needs starts and goals will come.do it rafa or next season it will come back to haunt us when he leaves and fulfills his potential.
