Tony Le T loving loan spell

Antony Le Tallec has said he will be happy to stay at Sunderland if he doesn't make it an Anfield. He has already notched a couple of goals for the Black Cats including the winner in their league cup tie:
"The team do not have 100 percent confidence at the moment," said the French youngster. "But that is to be expected as we have only got one point.
"But Mick McCarthy makes it a lot easier because he keeps smiling. If he was going around with a scowl that wouldn't be good for us.
"The spirit is still fine. We are a young team who are always learning and I still believe we can stay in the Premier League.
"I certainly have no regrets about coming on loan to Sunderland because I needed to be playing regularly and that was difficult at Liverpool."
Le Tallec expects to return to Anfield next summer, but admits he could remain in Sunderland if he is deemed surplus to requirements on Merseyside.
"At the moment I plan to go back there and try again," he added. "By then, hopefully, Sunderland will still be in the Premier League and I will have played my part in keeping them there.
"Perhaps if there is no future for me at Liverpool, I might stay here."
I think that once Le Tallec has a run of games in the Premiership and gets some confidence he will start showing why there was so much hype that preceeded his arrival. I'm sure Rafa is aware of what he could potentially achieve and showed his faith in the yougster by selecting him against Juventus last season in the Champions League.

I agree, he's gonna be one to watch for the future. But I think this loan spell will be a good learning experience for him and he should stay there for the full year as he'll get more games. Look what good it did Warnock when he went on loan for the year. He is much better player now.
