Reds linked with yet another Spanish International


Reports in the press today have stated that Ivan Helguera, who has already stated his intention to leave Real Madrid on a Bosman, is a target. Arsenal, Man U and Newcastle have also been mentioned as admirers of the 30 year old Spaniard. Helguera can operate in midfield and central defence. I wouldn't be surprised if Rafa makes a sneaky bid in January given our defensive situation. Real Madrid would have to sell at a low price knowing that he could go for nothing a few months later.

Not sure if he is that good to be fair...certainly looked dodgy against Lyon last week. Hopefully we can find someone though.

so when are u lot finally joining the spanish league? its bloody out of orda! when arsenal has foreigners its a big to do. when u guys do it, its no big deal. oh, its because we actually win things, thats right. sorry.

definitely cannot be counted, the cup is no longer in circulation you see. It had to be taken out cos some "crappy" club won it like 5 times.. damn that club..

I can't recall though if any other teams in England ever got to keep one before..

envious dickheads , just face it your club will never win 5 euro cups!! every team is always trying to re-build or add extra strength or that bit of flair!!
nobs will always slag off the MIGHTY LFC!!

Ivan is not good enough for EPL.. Better spend money on Gallas..
