Reserves boss praises very young team

After a 3-2 win against Bolton Reserves Hugh Mcauley was pleased with the performance of the talented youngsters. He had this to say to Liverpoolfc.tv:
"We did very well and deserved the win. We thought in the first half we were too deep and we sorted that out in the second half. "Bolton played a lot of long balls against us but Miki Roque, Godwin Antwi and Danny O'Donnell won headers and tackles for us. "We were calling Manno (Mannix) Gary Mac at the end of the game because his brilliant free-kick was very similar to the one Gary McAllister got against Everton. "Danny Guthrie did very well again in midfield for us and scored a good goal. He has made a very good start to the season. Adam Hammill also did really well on the wing and he has lots of skill and can cause problems to the opposition. "We gave 45 minutes to Paul Anderson, a trialist from Hull City in the second half and he did well. He played up front and got involved quickly and was always a threat."
Our recent reserves performances have suggested that our long term future should be very interesting.
