Riise needs to fix up

John Arne Riise has be told to buck up his ideas if he wishes to keep representing his Country. His season has yet to get going after finding himself second choice for Liverpool following the arrival of Zenden and the form of Steve Warnock. His International boss, Hreide, had this to say:
"I am not happy with Riise at all.
"He was really great last season but was very weak in our defeat against Scotland and has been for Liverpool so far this season as well.
"I have spoken to John about this and am counting on him to sort himself out and show us an improvement.
"He definitely needs to pull himself together."
I am very surprised that Riise is struggling to get into the team this season. He was one of our best players last season and should be one of the first names on the team sheet.

Riise has been second choise behind Morten Gamst Pedersen (Blackburn) on the left wing, so his only chance to get into Norways starting line is on left back. But he is facing stiff competition from the talented Marius Johnsen and André Bergdølmo.

This isn't the first time Hareide is telling Riise to get his act together, but earlier it has been about things regarding Riise's private life.
