Rafa pleased with Cisse contribution

Rafa was delighted with Djib's and the team's performance last night. However he stated we need to be more clinical in front of goal to kill off games and enable us to relax a bit more in the second half:
"Djib did very well. It was a good goal, the keeper had no chance, and it's good for him to keep scoring. The fact that the goal came from a set-piece was extra pleasing and we must do this more often. "It was a difficult game. We created a lot of opportunities, I think we had 18 shots in total, but couldn't score a second goal that would have killed them off. "We controlled the first half but were under pressure for quite a bit in the second half when Anderlecht played some good football going forward. "Overall though it was a really good result and maybe one more win will be enough for us now to qualify."
It was yet another impressive team performance away in Europe. We haven't lost in Europe for a year and look like stretching the run further. If only we could reproduce this form in the Premiership on a regular basis.
Please post your comments on the game.

a very good team performance, cisse is going to be a god of anfield,he has that certain hunger and is a genuine pround to wear the red of the mighty euro champs.
it was good to see harry bck , but he needs his match fitness bck as he should of been in the box when the keeper spilled luis shot, he still looked lively, as paul tomkins says in his blog its all about confidence.

Very pleasing 1st half. Riise played well, cut in a few times and unlucky not to score. Garcia's not worthy of a place!!! Cisse scored good goal, but needs a strike partner.
Either way, puts us in good form 4 the demolition of Fulham.
