Rafa thrilled by comfortable victory

Rafa was excited by our performance against Anderlecht stating that it will bring the team more confidence. We have now started scoring some goals allowing the team to have a cushion to be able to relax and express themselves more freely. This is what Rafa had to say:

"I am delighted and we played well and scored three good goals. It is three more points and now we have a lot of confidence. "We haven't qualified yet though and I know Betis will be dangerous opponents but we will try to beat them and win the game."

He was also pleased for his compatriot after he scored a fine goal in the first half:

"It was important for Morientes to score and it was good for us. Unfortunately Fernando had to come off because he felt pain in his knee so we will have to wait and see how he is on Thursday."

We played some free flowing attacking football yesterday. Hopefully we won't suffer from our usual European hangover at the weekend.
