Rafa hungry for league success
Rafa has stated that we will be prioritising the Premiership this season. He was questioned on who would win the Champions League and played our own chances down but is convinced an Italian team will feature again in this seasons final:
"There are many favourites. Milan, Chelsea, Juve, Manchester United, Inter, Barcelona and Real Madrid. And I won't forget Lyon too.
"Liverpool? It's clear we want to go forward as much as possible. I don't know who but one between Milan, Inter and Juve will make the final.
"Chelsea? To a strong side who won the title Abramovich added other big players, and it means Chelsea remain the big favourite.
"But Liverpool haven't won the league for 15 years and we have a big hunger."
Judging by Rafa's comments it looks like he believes that we will mount a serious title challenge this season.

at least he's positive, unlike some fans on the net today
thats where alot of our fans are different!when things are goin wrong we dont blame our manager!
we all have to trust rafa,he's already proved he is one of the best by winnin the champs league with a weak squad!
i would give anything to win the league again its been far too long since we were where we belong,champions at the top of the table!
it will come its just a matter of time,i think we have a good chance as any one else of winning again!
i think that the media and some so-called fans are being harsh on liverpool. they have been playing for at least two months more than everyone else. have had a tough fixture schedule at start and the next forthnight is no different.
give us a break. rafa - captain my captain.
rafa the god is 1yr and 2mths into his re-build, rome was not built in a day, he has shown the other prem managers how tacticly aware he is by out smarting them all!!
he will soon have a full team to pick from, and has been promised £££s in jan to continue his plan.
the people who slag off rafa and the team are leading sad negative life's and they need to belive and show your full support, if not fuk off and support a team whose tradition is that not of LFC.
