Gerrard may be World Player of the Year


Stevie G is on the shortlist for the World Player of the Year award. It is understood that out of the English candidates nominated he is in with the best chance. The Fifa Technical and Development Committee have put together the shortlist and the winner will be announced on the 19th December. The current holder is Ronaldinho. Below is the full shortlist:
