Xabi backing Djib to score more

Xabi is happy that we got the victory our play deserved last night putting us on the brink of qualification to the Champions League knockout stages:

"It was a good result for us against a team who knew it was probably their last chance to stay in with a chance of qualifying. We did a good job, scored a good goal and deserved the win."

Xabi has also been delighted with Djib's response to the speculation regarding his future. He has netted the winning goals in the last couple of games:

"It's very important for us to have strikers who are scoring goals. We struggled to score earlier in the season but we're doing better now. "Cisse is a good goalscorer and I'm sure he'll have taken a lot of confidence from the last two games. The more goals he scores the better for us."

Hopefully by taking Cisse off last night Rafa was saving him for another start at the weekend. Djib will be very high on confidence now and hopefully Rafa will give him the run in the team required for him to fully prove himself.
