Momo: "I can be better than Vieira"
After making a very promising start at Anfield, 20 year old Sissoko has stated that with hard work he believes he can even surpass Patrick Vieira:
"Patrick has achieved almost everything there is to do in football and won lots of things," said Sissoko.
"But if I keep working hard maybe I can get to that level or become even better and one day people will talk about Sissoko rather than Vieira."
There is no doubt that if Momo is right he will become an Anfield Legend sooner rather than later.

I think it's great the lad is showing so much confidence.
Well i must say, i went to sunderland and boro, plus most of the pre-season games, and each time i have seen him play he has been better than the last.
young..yes, bit clumsy...definately, but showing tons of potential in my opinion.
Think he'll play a larger than expected part this season. So support the lad!
He is hardly gonna get games, with Gerrard and Alonso, he is just gonna be the perfect sub type character. and good backup, nothing more.
Looks at least as good as Viera did at that age, Wenger picked him up from the AC reserves and everyone laughed at him for being clumsy, lanky etc.
Sound familiar?? As for those who say he wont play much part this season, WRONG. He is in Rafa's first eleven for sure...In the big games he and alonso will sit deep and allow Gerrard to bomb on...
And to think we nicked him at the last minute from Everton!
Hardly going to get games? Maybe you didn't read the synopsis that withwolves posted -- He's actually playing more than Gerrard. He's appears to be ahead of the legendary Didi Hamann in squad depth.
A little brash to be announcing his desire to be better than Viera in the papers, but what professional player doesn't fancy themselves as the next "somebody" if not bigger.
Momo certainly has the chance of being Viera - with a little bit of offensive bite. If you saw his last game, his rocket shot from the edge of the box that crashed off the joint of the post and the cross bar -- that would have been a peach.
If Traore can be in the Liverpool starting XI, why can't sissoko?
Vieira achieved getting red carded 10 times in his 9-year career at Arsenal. I'm sure Momo can easily beat that record....

You're only comparing him to vieira cause they're both black, can't you see that ? His game is nothing like Vieira's, nobody has a game like Vieira's thats why he was the best.
he aint got viera touch, skill, offensive drive and defensive quality even when viera was 20 for arsenal he was winning games for us with his presence. The problem is guys u cannot ever get a copy thats better than the original so he is best to concentrate on his own strenghts rather than copying someone elses game and being himself.

If you read the story all the way through, you will realise that Momo is comparing himself to Viera and we are commenting on that fact. Please dont underhandedly accuse us of Racism.
