Momo & Nando are back

Rafa has confirmed today that Momo Sissoko and Fernando Morientes are back in full training and fit for action against Chlesea on Sunday. Rafa doesn't like playing Didi twice in one week so I think Momo will take his place. We can see now what Rafa means when he says we have a better squad. Our central midfield area is particularly impressive in strength and depth.

Our central midfield area is particularly impressive in strength and depth.so i really think one more summer of getting the right players (3 or 4).i really hope we get Joaquin next summer along with Phillippe Mexes and two more of rafa's gems(momo).rafa will win us the prem next year 2006/2007 season.YNWA4LIFE

Having simply midfielders wont win us the prem. goalscorers would be welcome. although rafa is still looking for a central defender and wingers...up front needs to be sorted out too.

Personally I'd like to didi in again on saturday as I think his game is very suited to playing chelsea. He gives excellent cover to the back 4 and builds moves quickly and efficently. I like momo but think that he is better suited to games where we need more bite in midfield. He also tackles quite a lot (which is good when he gets the ball) but I think didi will stay on his feet more. Against robben and duff that's what's needed. The one major advantage that momo has is pace so he could help sammy out a bit, but I think didis experience and positional sense cancels this out. Anyway, I'm sure Rafa will be delighted that I've pointed this out for him......not!!! 2 nil to the reds.

Rafa is yet to play the same team in 2 successive games, so if he plays an attacking formation today, we certainly have a chance of wining. Otherwise a nil nil draw is likely to be the result. Crouch and Cisse upfront will be exciting.
