Unfortunately the Spanish national team doctors have confirmed after tests that Moro has pulled a muscle in his thigh. This is likely to rule him out for a fortnight. He will miss the Premiership games against Tottenham and Man United and the Champions League encounter with Real Betis.
Djibril Cisse & Peter Crouch will have chance to form an effective partnership is his absence.
