Parry takes Krafty trip to America to discuss investment

Rick Parry has traveled to America to explore the possibility of obtaining some substantial investment to cover the costs of our proposed new 60000 capacity stadium.
Parry met with New England Patriots owner, Robert Kraft, on Monday to discuss a stake in Liverpool FC. Kraft had invited Parry as a guest to the Superbowl Champions game against the Indianapolis Colts.
A deal has yet to be concluded but it is understood further talks are planned. Kraft has a history of negotiating with Liverpool as he was the main party in the consortium L4 who attempted to buy a stake in Liverpool earlier this year.
Unlike the American owners of Man Utd the Kraft family are interested in football and already own a Major League Soccer team, the New England Revolution.

Hopefully a deal can be struck, both to fund the new stadium, and allow Rafa to have more money to spend in the transfer window.

If we still wants to be reckoned as one of the best team in the world, we must seize the opportunity. Going commercial not always come easy to a club like LFC but I do think we need both transfer funds to Rafa and a strong economic platform for our new stadium. Gunners are doing it and do not forget how Mancs suddenly increased their supprter clubs across the world - by going commercial, everything was commercial which provided the club with a lot of money at disposal. I am not saying we should sell out but combine the economics with our identity, and I think we will hv a good solution by all means for the future of the club.
