Swap deal agreed with Hull for Anderson

Liverpool have agreed to sign Paul Anderson in the January window in exchange for John Welsh.
Anderson impressed in a trial at Melwood earlier this season. He is a 17 year old winger. Liverpool had a previous bid rejected but increased their offer to secure the signing of another talented youngster.
Hull Chairman Adam Pearson confirmed the deal had been done:
"The fact is he wants to join Liverpool and will now do so in January in a swap for John Welsh. The ideal scenario would be to keep Paul and sign John permanently as well, but it's not to be."
It's a shame to see John Welsh leaving and not developing yet into the player that we expected. Perhaps he'll return to the highest level in the future after a season or two of regular first team football.
