Simao deal in doubt

A couple of factors have narrowed the chances of Simao arriving at Anfield in the January transfer window. Simao is currently out with a knee injury and club doctors are now not expecting him to return until the new year. Simao's club Benfica have also qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League. Benfica are unlikely to sell their star player whilst they are still in Europe's top competition. The financial boost of Champions League progression will also lessen their need to raise extra cash through transfers.

WOULDNT HAVE THOUGHT HE WOULDWANT TO JOIN LIVERPOOL ANYWAY. JUST READ THAT SPURS ARE SNIFFING ROUND CISSE WITH A VIEW TO SIGNING HIM IN JANUARY FOR 5 MILLION. WOULD BE TYPICAL RAFA TO LET HIS BEST STRIKER LEAVE INSTEAD OF THE AWFUL CROUCH AND EQUALLY SHITE MORIENTES.

Simao is the captain of benfica and he has expressed a desire to leave which may have burnt his bridges at the club. I would personally prefer a move for Joaquin who is a good old fashioned right winger who can take players on. Simao is good but cannot beat players for fun. Only problem is the funding. I would be happy with Agger and Joaquin in Jan.

MARKFERNANDES obviously know nothing about football. But it would be a disgrace if we were to lose 9Mil on the player.

1.37 YES HE DID BUT IT WAS A BIGGER FLUKE THAN WIMBLEDON WINNING THE FA CUP

Hey MARKFERNANDES ur not a Manure supporter r u? What d fuck r u doin ere man... too depressed with manure web pages?

it wld be a shame yes Mr.J but i think cisse's antics r bad 4 team morale. I think he's eating some humble pie now n IF he comes to his senses he'll be a goal scoring machine 4 us. It's up to him really. Rafa won't give a shit if he chooses to act like a primadonna but if he change then u can bet the gaffer will be 101% behind him, just like d support crouchy got.

Hello MARK "Bitter" FERNANDES.

Seriously Fernanades, while you were thinking how lucky we were to be champions of europe the rest of us were just celebrating winning the comp for the fifth time. Anyone who doesn't see Rafa as a genius has no clue about the game.

How can anyone critise Rafa? Would anyone prefer Houllier back, or Evans or Souness? This is the best team we've had for over 10 years!! We don't have Chelsea's billions, but thank God we have Rafa!! Let's pray he stay's for many more years to come!! Let's support him & hopefully we'll have much more to celebrate.

i thought we had a tad of luck in instanbul,he turned it round in the 2nd half and we hung on for penalties, Rafa obviously wants it played his way and we are now seeing the benefits of that, i think kewell will come good this year, I'm a lot more calmer watching the reds that dudek and traore aren't playing, this pair wore my nerve ends down !!! HAIL Rafa

I HOPE RAFA STAYS ALSO WITH THE DEMISE OF ARSENAL AND MANURE NOW IS THE TIME FOR TEAMS LIKE LIVERPOOL AND SPURS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE. JUST A SHAME THAT RAFA IS TACTICALLY INEPT IN THE PREMIERSHIP AND CANT SPOT A PLAYER. LOOKS LIKE YOU WILL MISS YOUR GOLDEN OPPURTUNITY TO OVERTAKE YOUR BITTER BUT MORE SUCCESFUL NEIGHBOURS MANURE.AS FOR ANONYMOUS 11.38 I SUPPOSE YOU THINK GREECE WINNING THE EURO CHAMPIONSHIP WASNT A FLUKE EITHER. PRICK!

Who is this Fernandes tosser? How dare you mention Liverpool and Spurs in the same sentence when talking about success? Why are you on this blog anyway? Has the thfc.com server gone down again? The way they're playing, your team are probably heading the same way.

HAHAHAHA
I would bite Martin Jol's hand off if he offered a bag of chips for clubfoot. Cisse basically doesnt know how to play football and thinks its rafa's fault. I have respect for Houllier but i dont know what he was playin at there.... Morientes looks classy and Crouch will b a legend, get the stinkin Frenchman away from the club please
