Maureen still bitter about Champions League defeat

Jose Mourinho is still under the impression that his team were the best in the Champions League last season. This coming from a manager who resorted to playing a central defender up front against us in desperation because his team were unable to create any clear opportunities against our Carra inspired defence.

"When you look back to the semi-finals, nobody was better than Chelsea," he said. "Liverpool were not better than Chelsea, we were better than Liverpool.

"If you look at the whole Champions League, they were out until Steven Gerrard scored against Olympiakos in the group phase, but for us it was like a promenade. Four matches, 12 points.

"After three matches we had qualified and after four matches we had won the group. After that, one of best teams in Europe, Barcelona, came and we beat them. After that Bayern Munich came and we beat them, so our way was a very good way to reach the final."

I think Mourinho also needs reminding that we beat the previous and current Italian Champions and the English Champions.

Someone needs to remind Jose:
180 minutes against us, 1 shot on target.
We won 1-0 over 2 legs having created the clearest opportunities (see baros header in first leg needing quality save from cech and cisse twice going agonisingly close in second).
In the barca game he refers to the winner came from the chelsea defender sitting on the goalie whilst the other heads it in.

and the best fact of all:

LFC 5 times winners
CFC zilch

What a moan. I am getting quite bored of this self-inflated she-male. They lost, we won. Simple as that, talk all you want Maureen, history shows we won the game depsite what he says. Why don't we all band together and bitch abut Chelsea winning the title because speaking for Liverpool fans alone they definitely did not deserve to beat us in the league last year. Will we though ? No, because strangely everyone else involved in football seems to realise results count and not performances and whining like a little girl who's lost her doll. Grow up you child.

Some of you lot need to grow up. Mourinho was asked about Chelsea's chances in the Champions League this season, and he quite rightly referred to their performances in last season's tournament to back up his opinion.

They were the better team against us, and we had luck heavily on our side. He's just doing the same thing the majority of us did when they beat us in the league at Anfield - state the fact-based opinion that the better team lost.

Nothing seems amiss to me in what Mourinho said, so practice what you preach and 'stop whining'.

Mourinho didn't call himself the "Special One" for nothing. He KNOWS that he is the "Special One" because he "Specializes" in WHINING!

Actually anonymous at 3.57pm, he seems to keep re-iterating about how they were cheated and focussing on how we were blessed. That's not what he was asked. It's time he got over it. I see he is moaning about having little time to prepare after internationals and bemoaning his players playing for their country. I suppose he'll want them done away with too. Anyway, I'm sure if it all get too much for him he has you to cry with

The pressure is getting to him, how long can he defend his boring tactics before the media get bored of shmoozing his buttocks

An average manager with a huge pile of cash to go with his huge self appointed ego
