Berger: "We have lost our best striker"
Patrik Berger is delighted Villa have signed his Czech mate Baros and reckons we have let our most talented frontman leave.
"We should be grateful we have him over here because Liverpool have released the best striker they have in my opinion," he said. "He is going to score goals for us and he has given a lift to everyone at the club."
"He likes to run at people, he likes to run into channels, he can hold the ball, he's quick, he can score goals and create them - he has got everything."
He also likes to run down blind alleys and doesn't appreciate the positions of his team mates. I think Rafa made the right decision to let Milan leave. He missed too many important chances and seemed to enjoy moaning too much when he wasn't selected.

I think Milan is a great striker, who scares defenders, adds some trickery to the team..
Maybe he isn't a 20 goals man, but isn't definitely another Emile Heskey (who we paid £11 and sold for £6) has a good feeling in Europe and Premiership games, opens spaces for tema mates ...
AS we haven't bought no one to replace him, I feel sad about our campaign
Anycase, as we bought Crouch, I would rather have sold Nando Morientes.
I like the way you say we've bought no-one to replace him and then name his replacement, Anonymous. Jog on, you whopper.
I'm glad to see the back of that sour boat race
Hey is a tatical liability some times has alot of potential.... Heskey is better than tatically, Baros maybe easy on they eye....I think its fair to say you could relate our poor away form to the loss of Emile :D Id say he was our 3rd best striker when he left 1st be Djbril, 2nd Crouch, 3 Sinima
patrick was right. Milan is a gunius but yet to be consider mature, unfortunately at anfield times is running out for him. The close missed at Turin does not helped him either.
No doubt that Milan is a great striker. As a Liverpool fan, i wish him all the best, here we see a classic case where a great player does not fit into the manager's plan. Milan is never a lone striker, but i do believe he can do well with a partner up front like Koller for the national team.
