Sissoko ready to adapt to the Premiership

Momo has spoken of his delight at how well his life at Anfield has started. He has also expressed a desire to be more careful to limit the amount of bookings he received. Just as well becuase if he carries on how he's started he'll spend half of the season suspended: "I feel good since coming to Liverpool and the main thing is I'm playing," said Sissoko. "If I'm honest I didn't think I'd be playing right from the start but the manager has put me in the team and it has been a very positive start for me. I'm really happy and just hoping it carries on. "When you come to a club like Liverpool you know there are some great midfielders here and realise that it will be difficult to get into the side, particularly in the middle of the park as it is a very competitive area. "I came here to learn and to continue my apprenticeship so it is very good that I am playing but at the same time I'm training alongside and learning from all of these players around me. "This is a new league and a new experience for me. I've played in La Liga but this is a new style of football altogether, very hard and tough. In terms of football, it is a very, very good standard. There are some great players over here." Sissoko has also revealed he needs to get used to the way in which English matches are refereed as he looks to avoid unnecessary yellow cards without losing the physical nature of his game. He added: "I've picked up three cautions already, one in Europe and two in the league. It is important that I don't try to change my style too much as this is my main objective, to win the ball. I must carry on but try to get fewer cautions. "I have looked at the type of yellow cards I have picked up and two of them could probably have been easily avoided so I will take this on board and do everything I can to avoid these situations in future. "The standard of refereeing is different in England. Since my arrival I have also watched quite a few games and have noticed they have let a lot of things go. In Spain they will blow straightaway for the slightest touch or foul and give a free kick but the referee seems happier to let the game flow here, which probably suits my game more." I'm pleased with the way Momo has started and also his attitude. He seems to have a wise head on young shoulders. Please post your views on the Malian midfield battler.
