Rafa confident of a good start

Rafa has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Spanish football therefore he knows exactly what to expect tomorrow night against Real Betis:
"They are a good team, very dangerous," said the Liverpool manager. "It's their first season in the Champions League and people in Seville have told me this game is all they are thinking about. "We are the defending Champions and so maybe there will be more pressure on us but for me the idea is always the same, to prepare well, to plan for the game and to win. "Usually it's difficult when you have such a short space of time to prepare in between games, but in this case it isn't too bad because I know about Betis. I know their team and their players and so I'll be able to give my players a lot of information and a lot of details. "They have many good players. Oliveira scores goals for them, Edu is an important part of their team and Joaquin is one of the best players in Spain on the right wing, particularly in one against one situations as he looks to get crosses in. "It will be a good game and their fans will be up for it. I can tell you it's always a fantastic atmosphere in Seville and the supporters really make some noise. "We know it's going to be a hard game but I'm always confident we can come away with the right result."
Rafa has acknowledged that we have been drawn in a hard group. This places even more importance on getting some early points on the board.
"I haven't analysed all of the groups but I do know that ours is very competitive," he said. "We're the Champions, we know what Chelsea can do, Betis came fourth in La Liga and Anderlecht will also be a hard game even though Belgian football isn't up there with English or Spanish. "We want to make a good start to the competition and that means getting a result in Seville. That will be our aim."
Hopefully Rafa will use the same formation as employed against Tottenham with two front men.
